How does that scouting system work? I'm still kind of lost :')

I'm trying to understand it as well. But I feel the scouting system is what gets you more well known. While your projects do get shown to the public regardless, I think the scouting system either helps people notice you and your work or it could be used against someone if they aren't uploading their own work. I think scouting is just a way for moderators to notice your existence.

Hey thanks so much!
I think I got the idea now! The brain doctor up there explained it very well! Maybe you'll understand it better too?
Thanks for the answer! ^^

The scouting system works like this:

Yes, you're right in that you need at least 4 pieces of work before anyone can scout you. Hold your horses though, don't just spam out 4 pieces of crap just to fill the quota. If in the event someone scouts you and everything in your lineup is completely trash, both you and the person scouting you can be pruned. Or in other words, they lose their privilege to scout, and you get unscouted.

Make sure that everything you do is at least presentable, and is done to the best of your ability. And above all, NEVER ASK TO BE SCOUTED. It's a sure fire way to get everyone to not out of spite. If your stuff is above the rest, someone will take notice and help you out.

That's about it
TL;DR
Don't spam out crap, don't ask to be scouted, and strive to make the very best.

Okay thank you so much! I think I got it. It's a great system then! Was hard to understand at first ^^"
This community is really cool! People explain stuff! :')
Thanks and have a great day!
